Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Front Office Room Controller to join the Front Office – Resort Tower Operations team in the UAE. The role focuses on overseeing room inventory, ensuring readiness, and collaborating with Housekeeping to support seamless guest arrivals and departures.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in luxury hospitality, strong communication, and deep knowledge of room operations in high-volume settings. Flex shifts, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment (Front Office or Rooms Division).
• Experience as a Room Controller, Front Desk Supervisor, or similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of room inventory management and hotel operations in high-volume settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee room inventory and assignment for high-volume arrivals and departures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Facility Management to ensure room readiness and availability.
• Monitor real-time room status and prioritize allocations by guest type and operation needs.
• Optimize room blocking to maximize efficiency and upselling opportunities.
• Support Front Desk by managing guest flow and reducing wait times during peak periods.
• Update PMS (Opera Cloud) accurately for room status and assignments.
• Communicate with Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
