Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is seeking a Chief Concierge to lead the concierge team and deliver elevated guest experiences. You will supervise operations, set department goals, and ensure exceptional service aligned with Forbes Five-Star standards.

The role requires leadership experience in luxury hospitality, strong upselling capabilities, and deep knowledge of Dubai’s luxury scene. A premium, guest-centric approach and elegant presence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Les Clefs dOr membership is required.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in Front Office or Concierge in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven sales and upselling capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with a refined professional presence.
• Extensive knowledge of Dubai’s cultural, culinary, entertainment and luxury landscape and global trends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly in public areas and engage VIP guests in-room, ensuring a gracious welcome.
• Lead and supervise daily concierge operations to deliver seamless, polished service in line with Forbes Five-Star standards.
• Set departmental objectives, manage work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures for operational excellence.
• Monitor and elevate appearance, performance and service delivery of the concierge team, emphasizing training and teamwork.
• Ensure team members possess up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services and local area familiarity.
• Provide exclusive recommendations, secure reservations and curate exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and maintain elite relationships with partners and vendors to enhance bespoke offerings.
• Maximize sales revenues through refined upselling techniques and targeted marketing initiatives.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement actions to continuously improve results.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to deliver personalized experiences and foster loyalty.
