Job summary

ATLAS SHIPPING LINE L.L.C-FZ is seeking a Logistics Executive – Operations in Sharjah to manage day-to-day logistics, coordinate international shipments, and ensure compliant import/export operations. You will work with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customers to maintain smooth workflows.

The candidate should have UAE freight experience, strong documentation knowledge, and excellent coordination skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping operations in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of sea freight, air freight, and customs documentation.
• Experience working with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and logistics software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export and import shipments (FCL, LCL, Air & Road Freight).
• Handle bookings with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Delivery Orders.
• Monitor shipment status from booking until final delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and transporters.
• Follow up on ETD, ETA, vessel schedules, and shipment updates.
• Manage detention, demurrage, and free-time monitoring.
• Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly.
• Maintain shipment records and prepare operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs and international shipping regulations.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics Executive – Operations to manage day-to-day logistics activities, coordinate international shipments, and ensure smooth import and export operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, transporters, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate export and import shipments (FCL, LCL, Air & Road Freight).
• Handle bookings with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including:
• Bill of Lading (BL)
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Certificate of Origin
• Delivery Orders

• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
