Job summary

Parker Connect seeks a Supply Chain & Logistics Assistant to support international shipments, documentation, and coordination across suppliers, customers, and 3PLs in a fast-paced environment in Dubai. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and timely processing of orders and invoices.

You will handle export/import documents, LC-based banking papers, and liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 to 4 years of international Logistics experience.
• Must be proficient in MS-Office, Oracle based ERP while experience on MS Dynamics is an added advantage.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Must possess a customer focused attitude, team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle Import/Export documentation.
• Prepare LC-based bank and export documents.
• Process Sales orders, Purchase orders, shipment advice and invoicing for international customers.
• Prepare purchase and sales summaries and weekly reports on pending orders.
• Follow up with suppliers for shipping documents.
• Process orders and update information in the system.
• Check and send pre-alerts to destinations.
• Update local and destination customs regulations.
• Prepare import/export documentation and verify supplier invoices.
• Communicate with international operations, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities with suppliers, customers and 3PLs.
• Ensure timely processing and coordination with all parties.

Job description

The Supply Chain & Logistics Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and effective communication.

Role & Responsibilities

1. 1. Experience in handling Import / Export Documentation (trading environment would be an added advantage).
2. 2. Preparing Bank documents and Export Documents based on Letter of Credit (LC) requirement.
3. 3. Processing and handling Sales Order, Purchase Order, Shipment Advise and Invoicing for International customers.
4. 4. Preparing Purchase and Sales Summary, weekly reports on pending suppliers/customer orders. 5. Follow up with suppliers for shipping documents.
5. 6. Order processing, updating the information into the system.
6. 7. Checking, verifying and sending the pre-alert to destinations.
7. 8. Updating the local and destination customs regulations from time to time.
8. 9. Prepare Import/Export documentations, verifying supplier invoices, debit / credit notes and other relevant documents.
9. 10. Communicating international operations, vendor and other internal stakeholders.
10. 11. Coordinating day to day activities with suppliers, customers and 3PL service providers.
11. 12. Ensuring the timely process and coordination with all internal and external parties.
