Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end import and export shipping operations, liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs agents. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics and shipping.
• Strong knowledge of international import/export procedures.
• Practical experience with container shipping and freight forwarding.
• Good understanding of shipping documentation and Incoterms.
• Experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport companies.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and general office applications.
• UAE/Dubai logistics experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export shipping operations.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, CFSs, ports, and customs agents.
• Obtain and negotiate freight quotations and transportation rates.
• Handle container bookings, shipment planning, and cargo movement.
• Monitor vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, container movement, and shipment status.
• Coordinate shipping and commercial documentation, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO, COA, and related documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely shipment and documentation.
• Follow up on customs clearance, port operations, container release, and delivery.
• Monitor and control demurrage, detention, free days, and other logistics costs.
• Maintain shipment records, freight comparisons, and logistics reports.
• Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly.
• Ensure smooth coordination between the Dubai office, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
