Job summary

Jumeirah seeks a proactive Team Leader for the Majlis Al Fijri - Lobby to oversee daily Lobby operations within the Food & Beverage Department at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain. The role emphasizes guest service, attention to detail, and team supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a Hotel Management background, solid computer skills, and experience with Micros Cashiering. Commitment to discretion and exemplary service is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hotel management or relevant field.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Technical know-how at an intermediate level.
• Experience handling telephone enquiries.
• Familiarity with Micros Cashiering system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities, motivate and guide the team to achieve organizational goals.
• Create and enforce timelines to meet targets, and delegate tasks to team members.
• Demonstrate compassion, honesty, and integrity in all actions to set a positive example for the team.
• Ensure personnel, clients, and guests are greeted and attended to professionally and discreetly.
• Brief staff on duties before shifts and compile duty rosters, advising on changes as needed.
