Job summary

Le Méridien Dubai is seeking a Kitchen Associate to support daily food preparation, portioning, chopping, washing, and storage of ingredients. You will operate ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers, help prepare cold foods, and ensure correct temperatures and portion control for every dish.

With at least 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma, you will follow safety policies, keep the workspace clean, and collaborate with teammates to deliver consistent quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients; prepare and cook according to recipes and standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; monitor food quality and temperature.
• Set up and break down the work station; maintain cleanliness and safety; follow policies and procedures.
