Job summary

Rixos Hotels is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at AL-Meirid. You will supervise mise en place for all F&B outlets, guide Demi Chefs and Commis, and help craft menus while maintaining the brand’s high standards and hygiene guidelines.

You will lead a team, manage inventory, monitor portioning and plating quality, and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Sous Chef.
• Leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising mise en place for all F&B outlets and ensuring high standards of preparation and presentation.
• Overseeing staff in kitchen sections, assigning tasks and maintaining hygiene and safety.
• Monitoring costs, inventory and consistency with recipes and portion sizes.
