Job summary

Al-Futtaim seeks an experienced Document Controller to manage project documentation, drawing records, and information distribution in its Dubai construction operations.

You will maintain a robust document control system for electronic and paper records, ensuring accurate and current information is available to stakeholders and teams, while supervising junior staff and promoting compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the construction business.
• Diploma or Degree in Information Management or related discipline.
• Intermediate IT proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, registration, movement, and distribution of documents in electronic and paper formats.
• Maintain an organized document control system for project correspondence, drawings, and other controlled information.
• Ensure documents follow established requirements for numbering, formatting, issuance, review, dispatch, recording, and archiving.
• Collate and monitor project information to support timely distribution to relevant personnel.
• Supervise and train junior document control personnel in system procedures.
