Job summary

Al-Futtaim Real Estate is seeking a Document Controller to manage all document movements, electronic and paper, in line with the Design Management Plan. You will maintain records, issue controlled copies, and support designers and suppliers with information access.

The role also involves supervising junior staff, training on the drawing management system, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards within AFC.

Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency in IT applications including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong organizational and document management skills.
• Ability to train and supervise junior document control staff.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with designers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage all movements of documents (electronic and paper) per procedures/standards.
• Maintain a document control system and up-to-date records for team access.
• Issue and distribute controlled copies of information per the Design Management Plan.
• Liaise with designers and suppliers on information issues and access.
• Troubleshoot drawing management system issues and advise on procedures.
