Education: technical, trade, or vocational degree; minimum 3 years related experience; Marriott International in a dynamic luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer storage and thaw in refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality/quantity of prepared food.
• Communicate needs during busy periods and inform Chef of excess items.
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
• Ensure adherence to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees.
