Job summary

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking an Information Technology Coordinator to support our technology environment and ensure smooth IT operations.

The role focuses on end-user support, ticketing, system maintenance, and meticulous documentation. You will collaborate with the IT team and external vendors while upholding security best practices and high service levels. Candidates should be organized, analytical, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk.
• Proficient with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT ticketing and asset management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage and monitor IT ticketing systems and track resolutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and licenses.
• Coordinate with IT team and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Document procedures, solutions, and configurations for future reference.
• Assist with network monitoring and basic infrastructure support.
• Provide user training and onboarding for new software.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies.
