Job summary

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates is seeking an Information Technology Coordinator. The role provides essential IT support and coordination to ensure smooth operation of the technology infra and meticulous documentation of systems.

You will handle end-user support, ticketing, hardware/software maintenance, and security compliance, while coordinating with IT team members and vendors. This on-site position requires detail-oriented and organized professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in IT support, help desk, or similar role.
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT ticketing and asset management systems.
• Familiarity with hardware installation, configuration and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage and monitor IT ticketing systems, prioritizing requests and tracking resolution progress.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software applications, and peripherals.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches for security and performance.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and authentication with security in mind.
• Document technical procedures, solutions, and configurations for future reference.
