Job summary

DESERT FACE TRADING LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote technical assistance for hardware, software, network, and IT services.

The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining IT equipment, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors across multiple client sites. Candidates should have 2–5 years' experience with AMC or IT service providers and strong network knowledge.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and IT-related issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
• Respond to IT support requests and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, backups, and preventive checks.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Manage user accounts, email systems, access permissions, and basic network configurations.
• Maintain IT asset records and ensure proper documentation of systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Prepare service reports and maintain records of technical issues and resolutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to users and clients.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer/IT Support Technician.
• Experience working for an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) or IT service-providing company is mandatory.
• Experience handling IT support for multiple clients, offices, or sites.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Windows, networking, printers, hardware, software, and basic server administration.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently, visit client sites, and handle multiple support requests.
