We are looking for an IT Support professional with hands-on experience in IT hardware, basic networking, CCTV systems, audio/sound systems, printers, asset management, and end-user support.
The candidate should have good troubleshooting skills, be a quick learner, and be willing to provide IT support across different company locations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, network, printer, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, and other IT equipment.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including IP addressing, LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, network cabling, patching, and RJ45 crimping.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and access points.
- Support and maintain CCTV systems, including camera monitoring, NVR/DVR troubleshooting, cabling, connectivity, and checking recording/backup status.
- Support store audio/sound systems, including basic installation, speaker connectivity, cabling, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network/local printers and scanners.
- Install and configure Windows, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, and other basic applications.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, CCTV, network, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with new user setup, workstation setup, and IT equipment deployment.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
- Coordinate with IT vendors/service providers when required.
- Maintain basic documentation of IT equipment and support activities.
- Assist the IT team with other infrastructure and technical support activities.
Skills
- 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Good knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking, IP addressing, LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and network cabling.
- Experience with RJ45 crimping and cable testing.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR, cabling, monitoring, and backups.
- Basic knowledge of audio/sound systems, speakers, amplifiers, cabling, and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
- Experience with printer installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of IT asset management.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Quick learner, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies.
- Willing to travel between company locations when required.
