Job summary

TECEZE is seeking an IT Support Specialist – Backfill to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable. The role focuses on desktop and laptop troubleshooting, hardware support, and basic networking within the UAE environment.

You will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, support Office 365, manage printers, and resolve end-user issues with professional SLAs in mind.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop troubleshooting and configuration.
• Hands-on hardware support and peripheral devices experience.
• Basic networking knowledge including DHCP, DNS, and LAN connectivity.
• Experience with printer and network printer setup and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Office 365 support.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software as per organizational standards.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for IT assets.
• Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, including break-fix support.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tracking and documentation.
• Perform system imaging for laptops and desktops.
• Support printer setup, troubleshooting, and network printer installations.
• Assist in conference room setup, AV support, and meeting room technologies.
• Provide VIP/end-user support with high-touch service.
• Support Office 365-related issues and general user account troubleshooting.
• Install and troubleshoot compliance/security software.
• Provide support for Mac devices alongside Windows systems.
• Ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Support after-hours activities, events, and recurring meetings when required.
