Job summary

TECEZE in Abu Dhabi is seeking an IT Support Specialist – Backfill to provide on-site technical assistance when full-time engineers are unavailable. You will support desktops, laptops and peripherals, install and configure hardware/software, and perform IMAC activities for IT assets.

You will coordinate with OEM/vendors, manage IT inventory, image systems, set up printers and conference rooms, provide VIP support, assist with Office 365 and cross-platform Mac/Windows support, ensure SLA

Qualifications

• Desktops/laptops troubleshooting and configuration experience.
• Hardware and peripheral device support experience.
• Networking basics: DHCP, DNS, LAN connectivity.
• Printer setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Office 365 support familiarity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software as per organizational standards.
• Perform IMAC activities for IT assets.
• Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, including break-fix support.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations.
• Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tracking and documentation.
• Perform system imaging for laptops and desktops.
• Support printer setup, troubleshooting, and network printer installations.
• Assist in conference room setup, AV support, and meeting room technologies.
• Provide VIP/end-user support with high-touch service.
• Support Office 365-related issues and general user account troubleshooting.
• Install and troubleshoot compliance/security software.
• Provide support for Mac devices alongside Windows systems.
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Support after-hours activities, events, and recurring meetings when required.
