Job summary

Rotana Hotels is seeking an IT Supervisor in Abu Dhabi to oversee computer hardware operation and security. The role includes servicing computers and peripherals, maintaining inventories, and documenting configurations and access controls.

The candidate will ensure timely repairs, manage access requests, and uphold department procedures while delivering reliable IT support to guests and staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support and helpdesk operations.
• Familiar with Windows networks and common software applications.
• Ability to maintain hardware and software logs and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operation and security of computer hardware and ensure proper operation.
• Serve as primary contact for servicing computers, printers, etc.
• Maintain a sufficient inventory of all office and computer supplies.
• Maintain all hardware and software logs updated per procedures.
• Document hardware configuration and inventory.
• Document telephone system configuration and all MPT lines.
• Understand department procedures and perform related tasks.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance of PCs, printers, telephones, interactive system, key lock system, etc.
• Maintain all users access requests and authorizations (Win2000, E-mail, Opera, Micros, Novell).
• Respond to user requests and provide adequate support.
