Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks and workstations.
• Support server systems and compatible hardware and software.
• Administer user accounts and maintain computer and telephone rooms.
• Inspect, evaluate, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
• Enter commands and operate controls on computers and related equipment.
• Plan and manage disk space across the network.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of technology devices.
• Support technology equipment installations, relocations, acquisitions, modifications, and system upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity issues.
• Respond to software and application error messages.
• Provide technical advice and network communication system support.
• Support end users across applicable business applications.
• Escalate major technical problems to appropriate vendors or technicians.
• Work with users and colleagues to evaluate, analyze, and resolve technology requirements.
• Train and instruct users on the correct and secure use of systems.
