Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a proactive IT Support specialist in Dubai to deliver frontline technical assistance for desktop applications, hardware, and IT systems. You will troubleshoot issues, configure user desktops, and deploy PCs following established procedures.

Ideal candidates have experience in IT support or help desk, solid knowledge of Windows and Office 365, basic networking, and strong communication skills to assist a diverse internal user base in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or customer service.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office 365.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to internal users for desktops, hardware, and IT systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Configure desktops and IT equipment for end users.
• Install and deliver desktop assets and other IT equipment.
• Build, image, configure, and deploy PCs according to established procedures.
• Provide desktop incident management and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
• Assist in relocating users and IT equipment between office locations.
• Install, configure, and repair hardware and software as required.
• Respond to user queries related to IT procedures, transactions, and system status.
• Coordinate with network services and application development teams to restore services and resolve technical issues.
• Handle the physical movement of IT hardware into and out of storerooms and office areas.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and service requests.
• Follow IT processes, company policies, and established procedures.
• Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Perform other IT support duties as assigned.
