Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide first-line support for business applications in Dubai. You will diagnose issues, restore services quickly, and minimize downtime to keep users satisfied.

You will monitor application performance, use monitoring tools to catch potential problems early, and coordinate with development teams to optimize functionality based on user feedback and incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in application support or similar role.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, or related credentials.
• Experience with SQL and database management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime and maintain user satisfaction.
• Monitor application performance and health, utilizing tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they affect users.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application functionality based on user feedback and incident reports.
• Document and maintain detailed records of support incidents, solutions provided, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
