Job summary

The role requires 2+ years in inventory management, proficiency with inventory software and MS Office, and strong attention to detail. High school diploma is required; related supply chain certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree/certification in supply chain is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years in storekeeping or inventory management, hospitality preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Receive and store deliveries, check quality and quantity.
• Issue materials to departments as requested.
• Apply FIFO stock rotation to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate management reports on stock and discrepancies.
• Keep storage area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Document all inventory transactions including receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in storage and handling.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
