Job summary

Accorhotel is seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory, receive and store goods, and issue materials to departments in a timely manner within a hospitality environment.

The role requires at least 2 years in storekeeping or inventory management, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory software and MS Office. The candidate will maintain safe storage and collaborate with other departments to ensure stock availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in supply chain management or related field is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or similar role, preferably in hospitality or service industry.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and handling goods.
• Excellent organizational skills to ensure tidy, systematic storage and efficient inventory management.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with other departments and providing clear instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering of inventory.
• Receive deliveries, check quality and quantity, and store goods properly.
• Issue materials to relevant departments as requested.
• Implement FIFO stock rotation to prevent spoilage and obsolescence.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare regular inventory reports for management highlighting discrepancies or shortages.
• Maintain organized, clean, and compliant storage areas.
• Maintain records of all inventory transactions including receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in storage and handling of goods.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are available at the right time.
