Job summary

InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking a Receiving/Store Assistant to join our Finance team. You will ensure goods are received, checked, stored and issued accurately while keeping storerooms organised and inventory properly controlled.

The role requires a Vocational Certificate in Accounting, about 2 years experience in purchasing or accounting, and basic knowledge of computerized financial reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational Certificate in Accounting or related field.
• Around 2 years of experience in purchasing, accounting or similar function.
• Basic knowledge of computerised financial reporting systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify deliveries against invoices and documents.
• Check quantities, quality and condition before acceptance.
• Issue store items in line with hotel procedures.
• Maintain stock levels and accurate records of items received and issued.
• Rotate stock to minimise wastage and deterioration.
• Safeguard inventory and report damaged or obsolete stock.
• Keep storerooms clean, organised and hygienic.
• Prepare, code and record requisitions according to the schedule.
