Job summary

McGregor Boyall, on behalf of a leading UAE insurer, seeks a Senior Manager – International Private Medical Insurance to shape IPMI strategy and build the proposition across markets.

You will own strategy, growth, and distribution, including brokers, digital platforms, bancassurance and partnerships, with a focus on new business and client retention.

This is a build role requiring 10+ years IPMI experience, strong market knowledge, and a robust broker network; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in International Private Medical Insurance with emphasis on distribution.
• Strong knowledge of global health insurance markets, regulation, and competition.
• Proven broker and intermediary network in the region.
• Analytical and decision-making abilities with stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance or related; MBA advantageous.
• Insurance certification (ACII, AIIK, FLMI or equivalent) preferred.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic plan to grow IPMI portfolio across new business and retention.
• Identify new markets, distribution channels and partnerships to drive market penetration.
• Build and manage relationships with brokers, intermediaries and corporate clients.
• Expand distribution across digital platforms, bancassurance and corporate partnerships.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and client needs to shape business development.
• Monitor sales performance and KPIs, driving accountability across the sales team.
• Ensure operational excellence across policy issuance, premium collection and customer servicing.
