Job summary
ADNOC in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Instrumentation and Control Engineer to plan and supervise maintenance of instrument and control systems across plant operations. You will coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure reliable functioning and minimal downtime, supporting both routine and shutdown activities.
The role requires a Bachelor in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and at least 6 years in the oil and gas sector, with strong problem-solving and field execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics.
- 6 years of experience in Instrument and Control engineering and maintenance in a large industrial organization, preferably Oil & Gas.
- Strong technical knowledge in instrumentation and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise maintenance activities for instrument and control systems.
- Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliable functioning of systems.
- Provide field technical support for critical maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Assess manpower requirements for daily preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
- Monitor materials, spares and tools to ensure availability for planned work.
- Conduct root cause analysis of failures and recommend fixes to improve reliability.
