Job summary

ADNOC Group invites an experienced Instrument and Control Maintenance Engineer to plan and supervise maintenance of plant instrumentation and control systems. You will coordinate with operations, mechanical, and electrical teams to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

The role covers preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance, field support for critical repairs, and contributing to budgets and five-year plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics.
• Minimum 6 years of instrumentation and control engineering in a large industrial setting.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance for plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine surveillance, and plant start-up activities.
• Collaborate with operations, mechanical, and electrical teams to align maintenance schedules and resolve issues.
• Provide field support for critical repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assess workloads and allocate personnel, tools, parts, and materials as needed.
• Investigate failures and root cause analysis to propose reliability improvements.
• Support major maintenance, upgrades, and obsolescence planning within five-year plans.
• Support project development, specifications, implementation, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations and contractor performance monitoring.
• Supervise assigned employees and contribute to training and development.
• Contribute to departmental budgets and management reporting; ensure HSE and ADNOC standards.
