Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics.
• Minimum 6 years of instrumentation and control engineering in a large industrial setting.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance for plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine surveillance, and plant start-up activities.
• Collaborate with operations, mechanical, and electrical teams to align maintenance schedules and resolve issues.
• Provide field support for critical repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assess workloads and allocate personnel, tools, parts, and materials as needed.
• Investigate failures and root cause analysis to propose reliability improvements.
• Support major maintenance, upgrades, and obsolescence planning within five-year plans.
• Support project development, specifications, implementation, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations and contractor performance monitoring.
• Supervise assigned employees and contribute to training and development.
• Contribute to departmental budgets and management reporting; ensure HSE and ADNOC standards.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 6 years of instrumentation and control engineering and maintenance experience in a large industrial organization.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications as applicable.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance teams, investigate equipment failures, and support reliable plant operations.
