Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks an Instrument and Control Maintenance Supervisor to plan and supervise maintenance of instrument and control systems across the plant. The role focuses on reliability, safe operations, and minimizing downtime while coordinating with operations, mechanical, and electrical teams.

You will lead preventive and breakdown maintenance, support shutdowns, and drive improvements in maintenance execution within a large oil and gas environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in instrumentation or control engineering.
• Minimum 6 years in instrument and control engineering and maintenance.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant instrument and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate instrument and control maintenance across the plant area.
• Provide field technical support to resolve equipment issues with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, operations, and contractors for maintenance work.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and non-scheduled shutdowns.
• Support shutdowns, start-up activities, and maintenance plan execution.
• Ensure materials, spare parts, and tools are available as needed.
• Monitor workload, backlog, and resource needs to ensure timely completion.
