Job summary
ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks an Instrumentation and Control Engineer - Maintenance to plan and supervise maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. The role ensures reliable plant operations, coordinating with operations, mechanical and electrical teams and providing on-site troubleshooting support.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control or related field, and a minimum of six years of experience in heavy industry maintenance,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree requirement in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering and maintenance.
- Experience in oil and gas preferred.
- Familiar with maintenance planning and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for instrumentation and control systems to sustain reliable plant operations.
- Align maintenance schedules, personnel, materials and technical support with operational needs while reducing equipment downtime.
- Support operations and maintenance teams with equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine surveillance and start-up activities.
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical sections to integrate maintenance work with plant operations.
- Provide on-site technical support for critical equipment maintenance and resolve problems with minimum downtime.
