Job summary

ADNOC Group seeks an experienced Instrument & Control Engineer to plan and supervise maintenance of instrument and control systems across the plant, coordinating with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires strong field technical support, manpower planning for preventive, breakdown and shutdown activities, and leadership in root cause analysis to optimize uptime and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics discipline or equivalent Professional Qualification
• 6 years of experience in Instrument and Control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise maintenance activities for instrument and control systems.
• Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliability.
• Provide technical field support for critical maintenance activities.
• Evaluate workload and allocate manpower for preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance.
• Monitor materials, spares, and tools to ensure availability.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and shutdowns.
• Assist in major maintenance planning and obsolescence issues.
• Support development and commissioning of new projects in mechanical design
