Job summary

Caliberly seeks an Import/Export Operations Manager in Dubai to oversee end-to-end import/export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and INCOTERMS. Qualifications

• Residency in Dubai (UAE region) required.
• Minimum 3 years as Import/Export Manager in UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Professional-level English proficiency (native or near-native).
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS and international trade laws.
• Strong understanding of UAE customs clearance processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee import/export activities, ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, logistics agents, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation including customs declarations and shipping documents.
• Implement processes to ensure INCOTERMS compliance and international trade standards.
• Address and resolve shipment, logistics, or customs delays or issues.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders on shipment statuses and queries.
• Manage budgets and negotiate rates with logistics providers to optimize costs.
• Monitor logistics operations to identify improvements and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

• Residency: Based in Dubai (for UAE region candidates only).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Import/Export Manager in the UAE is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Language: Professional-level proficiency in English (native or near-native).
• Knowledge:
