Overview
Conduct risk assessments, develop HSE policies, lead incident investigations, and facilitate training while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and environmental, health and safety management in assigned environments.
- Develop and implement HSE plans and policies; promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead incident investigations and provide expert guidance to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver HSE training, conduct audits and inspections, and monitor safety programs for compliance with ISO standards.
- Prepare and maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation; issue Work Permits and support emergency response readiness.
- Supervise safety practices on-site, coordinate safety activities with project teams, and promote hazard identification and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH certification (IGC or equivalent) required or demonstrated equivalence.
- Relevant degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in risk assessment, safety policy development, training delivery, and regulatory compliance.
- UAE driving license preferred; ability to operate in UAE work environments (e.g., Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, etc.).
- Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001) and safety management systems.
