Job description

About the Role

We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI. We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on HR Officer to take full ownership of our people operations as our dedicated HR resource across both our Abu Dhabi Mainland and ADGM entities. This is an HR‑focused role (talent acquisition is handled separately) spanning the full employee lifecycle, HRIS, payroll coordination, compliance, and all PRO, visa, and government relations work. You will work closely with leadership and operate autonomously, keeping HR running smoothly and compliantly as the business scales. It is an ideal fit for a confident all‑rounder who knows both the UAE Abu Dhabi Mainland and ADGM frameworks and is comfortable owning the strategic and administrative sides of HR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation across both entities.
  • Prepare employment letters, contract amendments, and employee documents.
  • Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end, and manage contract changes, extensions, and terminations correctly for each jurisdiction.
  • Track probation periods, contract renewals, and lifecycle milestones, and respond to employee queries on contracts, leave, and documentation.
  • Take ownership of the HRIS (ZELT): configure, organise, and embed it as the single source of truth for employee data.
  • Maintain employee records, leave balances, organisational data, and documentation within the system.
  • Support employees with HRIS access and questions, and generate HR reports with accurate data.
  • Manage leave balances, attendance, and absence records within the HRIS.
  • Coordinate quarterly performance and probation reviews, and maintain related documentation.
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll inputs, ensuring employee data and leave balances are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Work with the Finance team to support payroll processing, including WPS compliance and end‑of‑service and savings‑scheme accuracy across both entities.
  • Own PRO and government work end to end: MoHRE portal, ADGM E-Channel and Establishment Card management, visa and work permit processing, Emirates ID, and labour cards.
  • Coordinate the full visa lifecycle for new hires and renewals, and monitor all document expiry dates.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Mainland Labour Law and current ADGM Employment Regulations.
  • Maintain contract templates and core HR policies for both jurisdictions, and support HR audits and compliance reviews.
Your Profile
  • 4-5+ years of HR generalist or HR officer experience in the UAE, with the ability to run HR independently.
  • Strong, hands‑on knowledge of both UAE Mainland Labour Law (MoHRE) and current ADGM Employment Regulations.
  • Direct experience with PRO and government processes: E-Channel, Establishment Card, visa and work permit processing, Emirates ID, and labour cards.
  • Hands‑on experience setting up and administering HRIS platforms, not data entry alone.
  • Payroll coordination experience, including WPS and current UAE salary payment rules.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, and proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Arabic is a strong plus.
  • Experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail, or other service‑based businesses is a plus.
What's Offered
  • Competitive salary package
  • Employment visa sponsored by our client
  • Medical health insurance according to company policy
  • A flexible part‑time working arrangement (20 hours per week)
  • A hands‑on role with genuine ownership across HR operations and people processes
  • A collaborative, passionate, wellness‑driven team environment
  • Opportunities to grow with a fast‑expanding premium wellness brand
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You are detail‑oriented, possess strong organisational skills, and have a deep understanding of UAE employment regulations. Your ability to manage HR operations independently and your passion for wellness will make you a valuable asset to our client's team.
