Job summary

St. Regis in Dubai seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and conduct preventive maintenance across hotel systems. You will diagnose, repair, and service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components while adhering to safety and security policies.

Excellent communication with shifts and inventory management is essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in hotel maintenance, with preference for those familiar with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
No supervisory experience expected.

Responsibilities

Respond to guest repair requests and attend to maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools, and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
Inspect tools and equipment and operate all shut-off valves and utility shut-offs.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved systems.
Follow safety policies and proper Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Perform surface repairs, painting, light plumbing/electrical tasks, and basic cleaning of work areas.
Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment; assist with landscaping as needed.
Use computer systems to input schedules and adjust building controls.
