Job summary

Accor is seeking a General Technician for hotel maintenance in Dubai. The role involves maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems across guest rooms and public areas.

You will respond to maintenance requests, perform repairs, and support energy-saving and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate has prior facility maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently during urgent repairs.

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a high school qualification or equivalent education.
• Technical training in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, or facilities operations is advantageous.
• Experience in general maintenance within hotels or commercial facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, mechanical, and kitchen equipment.
• Identify faults early and perform practical repairs per safety procedures.
• Coordinate repairs with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Maintain tools and records, update work orders and logs after tasks.
