Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Hostess or in a similar food and beverage role.
• Good verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian) are an advantage.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant, professional and well-groomed appearance.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables.
• Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, table assignments, and special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant layouts, operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel services.
• Answer telephone enquiries professionally and according to service standards.
• Monitor guest flow and organize waiting lists during busy periods.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to enquiries, and assist with resolving concerns.
• Conduct table visits and coordinate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized hostess desk and dining area.
• Support menu preparation, cashiering procedures, and restaurant operations when required.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service.
