Job summary

Rixos Hotels in Dubai seeks a Receiving/Purchasing Coordinator to ensure accurate goods receipt, purchase orders, and supplier coordination within a hospitality environment.

You will verify deliveries against orders, coordinate schedules with Stores and departments, and assist the Purchasing Chief with supplier relations and market research to support cost control and stock management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Receiving/Purchasing in hotel or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, stock control and supplier coordination.
• Ability to verify deliveries and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify received goods against purchase orders, contracts, and quality standards.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with Storekeeper and departments.
• Identify discrepancies and arrange returns or replacements.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents accurately.
• Assist Purchasing Chief with supplier coordination, market and price research.
• Support supplier visits, stock counts, and cost control activities.
• Coordinate urgent and small-quantity purchasing with Purchasing Driver.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
