Job summary

Rixos Hotels is seeking a Purchasing and Receiving Coordinator in Ras al-Khaimah to oversee goods receiving, ensure quality and compliance with standards, and support cross-departmental operations.

You will verify orders, coordinate deliveries, identify discrepancies, and assist with supplier coordination and cost control while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational qualification; degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Hospitality is an advantage.
• Experience in Receiving, Purchasing, Stores or Cost Control, preferably in hotels or hospitality.
• Knowledge of goods receiving, purchase orders, invoices, stock control, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Verify received goods against purchase orders, contracts, quantities, prices, and quality standards.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with the Storekeeper and relevant departments.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate the return or replacement of non-compliant goods.
• Ensure purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents are accurately processed.
• Assist the Purchasing Chief with supplier coordination, market and price research, and purchasing activities.
• Support supplier visits, stock counts, and cost control activities as required.
• Coordinate urgent and small-quantity purchasing requirements with the Purchasing Driver.
• Ensure all purchasing and receiving activities comply with Rixos Hotels’ policies, procedures, quality standards, and Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate with the Storekeeper and relevant departments to ensure smooth and accurate receiving operations.
