Job summary

Swissotel Al Murooj in Dubai, part of Accor, seeks a hostess/front-of-house to welcome guests and support the dining outlet. You will assist with seating, greetings, and service coordination while upholding high standards of grooming and hospitality.

Experience in front-of-house roles, strong English, and flexibility across shifts are required. The position offers exposure in a premier Dubai hotel and opportunities to grow within the Accor group.

Qualifications

• College Graduate is required.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in a hostess or front-of-house hospitality role.
• Proficiency with computer systems and POS software.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and protocols.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance.
• Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in hospitality.
• Flexible across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up the Food & Beverage outlet for service in line with opening hours.
• Assist hostess and ensure accurate name tags and records.
• Greet guests, seat them, and present menus with recommendations.
• Take orders, process payments, and coordinate with the cashier.
• Maintain a professional appearance and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Report cleanliness or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
