Job summary

Swissotel Al Murooj in downtown Dubai seeks a professional waiter to join the hotel’s Food & Beverage team. You will deliver warm, attentive service, present menus, take orders, and work with colleagues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College graduate
• 1 year of waiter or similar F&B service experience
• Proficiency in POS software applications
• Demonstrated excellence in hospitality standards
• Strong command of English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of F&B service protocols and etiquette
• Commitment to high personal hygiene and professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Set up the F&B outlet on time according to meal settings and opening hours.
• Contribute to meet and maximize the outlet's monthly revenue budget and control expenses.
• Attend regular departmental training on guest care, product knowledge, grooming, and up-selling.
• Communicate with guests: present menus, offer recommendations, take orders and handle payments.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming; greet and seat guests via hostess.
• Ensure entrance is attended and maintain host-guest relations.
• Familiarize with all menus and promotions and report maintenance or cleanliness issues.
