Job summary

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Welcome Ambassador/Hostess to be the first smiling face for guests, delivering a warm, professional welcome and ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.

In this role you will greet guests in the lobby, assist with directions, coordinate with Concierge and Front Office, promote resort facilities, and maintain brand standards in all guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Guest Relations, Front Office, Concierge, Hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, outgoing, and approachable personality.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Russian, Arabic, German, or French are an advantage.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests and visitors in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
• Act as the first point of contact in the lobby, creating a positive and lasting first impression.
• Assist guests with directions, resort information, facilities, and services.
• Coordinate with Concierge, Front Office, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance when required.
• Support guest arrivals and departures by providing information and guidance.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests efficiently and courteously.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and public areas to engage with guests and offer assistance.
• Promote resort facilities, dining outlets, activities, and special promotions.
• Ensure the lobby area remains welcoming, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
• Foster positive relationships with guests to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
