Job summary

Marriott International, through its St. Regis Hotels & Resorts brand, seeks a seasoned sales professional in Abu Dhabi to negotiate rates and contract terms within approved authority.

You will draft Group Sales Agreements and manage cancellation clauses, while coordinating with Reservations and Revenue teams to maximize revenue and guest loyalty. You will mentor Sales Executives, train new joiners on Opera and Marriott systems, and serve as escalation point for the team in the Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates, concessions, and contract terms within pre-approved authority levels; elevate exceptions to the Manager.
• Draft and issue Group Sales Agreements, ensuring alignment with hotel policies and legal clauses.
• Manage cut-off dates, attrition, and cancellation clauses, coordinating with Reservations and Revenue.
• Support and mentor Sales Executives and Coordinators, reviewing their proposals and contracts before dispatch.
• Provide on‑job training for new joiners on systems (Opera, CI/TY, SFAWeb), proposal tools, and Marriott standards.
• Act as first point of escalation for the team in the Manager’s absence.
• Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems with appropriate departments and maintain brand standards.
