Job summary

Marriott International is seeking a Groups Manager – Proactive to drive group and events business across its Abu Dhabi cluster hotels. You will lead proactive outreach, nurture relationships, and ensure seamless handovers with operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

The role demands building a robust pipeline, coordinating with sales teams, and delivering on revenue targets through strategic engagement and market insight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in sales/marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional.
• Or 2-year degree with no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, develop, and convert group and events business across assigned cluster hotels.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to hit revenue targets.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers to generate new, repeat, and incremental group business.
• Conduct proactive sales calls, client visits, entertainments, lunches, presentations, FAM trips, trade shows, networking, and site inspections.
• Develop relationships within the local business network to expand the cluster customer base.
• Coordinate with sales channels to ensure aligned and non-duplicative efforts across the cluster.
