Job summary

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Coordinator for Groups & Events to support the seamless operation of the sales and events teams. You will handle leads, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with clients from initial proposal to on-site liaison, ensuring flawless execution of conferences and banquets.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and familiarity with Opera and Envision systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant hotel ops experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• GCC region sales/coordinator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle all leads from the sales team and direct client inquiries for group and banqueting requests.
• Maintain close relationship with the client from proposal sending to onsite liaison between hotel and organizer.
• Liaise with sales account managers on corporate/group issues and activities, maintaining communication internally.
• Review function blocks weekly to ensure that all business on the books is live and traced, and tracked for confirmation.
• Develop professional conference and incentive sales proposals that win business for Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
• Develop knowledge of Opera and Envision systems to check reservations and space availability.
• Ensure correct booking procedures are applied for group room allocations, meeting set-ups, catering terms and contractual agreements.
• Ensure events are carried out in an innovative and stylish fashion reflecting positively on Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
• Entertain potential and current customers based on business priorities.
• Attend and participate in site inspections.
