Job summary

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Coordinator for Groups & Events to assist in the smooth operation of the department in line with Hyatt’s standards. You will manage leads, coordinate with clients from proposal to onsite events, and work with sales managers on group issues, ensuring bookings and events reflect the premium Park Hyatt brand.

The role requires hotel operations experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and colleagues

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in hotel operations.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and computer systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, managers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Handle leads from the sales team and direct client inquiries for group and banqueting requests.
• Maintain relationships with clients from proposal to onsite liaison between hotel and organizer.
• Coordinate with sales account managers on corporate or group issues and activities.
• Review weekly function blockers to keep all business on the books live and traceable.
• Develop conference and incentive sales proposals that win business for Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Opera and Envision systems for reservations, room types and space availability.
• Ensure correct booking procedures for group room allocations, meetings, catering terms and contracts.
• Ensure events are delivered in an innovative, stylish fashion reflecting the brand image.
