Job summary

Congress Bookers, a healthcare-compliant international travel group, seeks a commercially minded Business Development Specialist. You will research and develop new B2B opportunities for international medical congress travel services, maintain a structured sales pipeline, and coordinate handovers to internal teams.

The role includes attending industry events and presenting travel and ground-service solutions.

Qualifications

2–5 years in B2B sales, business development, tourism, events, or related field.
Strong research, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Confident with CRM, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
Advanced English; additional languages (Arabic or others) advantageous.
Willingness to travel internationally.
MMP/HMCC certification welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Research prospective pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organisations and travel agencies.
Build and qualify prospect lists; identify decision-makers.
Make first contact by email, phone and LinkedIn.
Present accommodation, group travel and ground-service solutions for international medical congresses.
Develop new-market plans and maintain a structured sales pipeline.
Attend industry events (IMEX, IBTM, ATM) and coordinate handover to internal teams.
