Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Account Director to spearhead relationships with corporate clients, MICE, and leisure sectors across the GCC. Based in Dubai, this role will drive revenue growth for Shangri-La's luxury properties and broaden our regional presence through strategic account management.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hospitality experience with a focus on corporate MICE and leisure sectors.
• Experience with luxury hotel brands and a strong GCC market network.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive sales plan for corporate, MICE, and leisure sectors in the GCC.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key corporate clients and MICE planners.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential clients.
• Oversee and grow existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Revenue Management and Global Sales to tailor offerings.
• Plan and support events, promotions, and conferences for the GCC market.
• Provide regular sales performance reports and market insights to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in line with Shangri-La policies.
