Job summary

You'll use strong communication, local knowledge, and up-selling skills to showcase hotel services, answer inquiries, handle payments, and maintain accurate records while working as part of a professional front desk

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; business admin/hospitality qualifications are an advantage.
• Previous or current hotel industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a professional, friendly manner.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office administration.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to maintain records, manage appointments, and handle confidential information.
• Well-presented, punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm welcome: greet guests, check-in/check-out, verify details, assign rooms, issue keys, and provide welcome materials.
• Support efficient check-out: process departures, verify charges, handle payments, issue receipts, and use the POS system accurately.
• Provide hotel and local knowledge: assist with inquiries and offer information on hotel offerings and local area.
• Promote hotel services: use up-selling techniques to recommend amenities and maximize revenue.
• Delight our guests: respond to requests, resolve concerns with care and urgency, and manage messages.
