Qualificações

• 3–5 years of freight-forwarding operations experience in the UAE.
• Experience across air, sea and road freight; courier/express exposure preferred.
• Strong command of shipping documents, Incoterms and carrier portals.
• Clear written English, strong follow-up and cost/document control.

Responsabilidades

• Validate booking details, routing and service levels.
• Obtain and compare carrier rates, schedules and transit times.
• Book and coordinate AWB/BL/MBL, manifests, and pre-alerts.
• Coordinate pickup, customs, handovers and final delivery.
• Update milestones and advise delays or gaps.
• Create shipment files with confirmations and cost accruals.
• Manage consolidation/deconsolidation and overseas communications.
• Support DG/temperature-controlled/oversized cargo through approved specialists.
• Check invoices against agreed rates and report variances.
• Maintain shipment and quotation records for audit.

Freight and International Operations Executive

Role Overview

Execute air, sea and road freight and international-express movements accurately and within approved service and cost controls. The role coordinates bookings, documentation, customs handovers, overseas agents and shipment milestones from origin through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate booking details, commodity, dimensions/weight, routing, Incoterm, service level, trade documents and special-handling needs.
• Obtain and compare approved carrier/agent rates, schedules, transit times, free time and routing limitations.
• Make bookings and issue/coordinate AWB, HAWB/MAWB, BL/HBL/MBL, CMR, manifests, labels and pre-alerts as applicable.
• Coordinate pickup, export customs, terminal/CFS handover, flight/vessel/truck departure, transshipment, destination clearance and final delivery.
• Update every mandatory milestone in the operating system and proactively advise delays or document gaps.
• Create shipment files with supplier confirmations, cost accruals, proof of service and job-closing documents.
• Manage consolidation/deconsolidation instructions and overseas-agent communications.
• Support DG, temperature-controlled, oversized and controlled cargo only through approved specialists and documented acceptance.
• Check supplier invoices against agreed rates and report cost variances before closure.
• Maintain shipment and quotation records for audit and customer review.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of freight-forwarding operations experience in the UAE.
• Working capability across air, sea and road freight; courier or express exposure is preferred.
• Good command of shipping documents, Incoterms, carrier portals and overseas-agent coordination.
• Clear written English, strong follow-up and accurate cost and document control.
